Memory: Fields, Provence

While I'm on my land-use bandwagon, let me just say that the beautiful landscape of Provence looks the way it does for very practical, non-artistic reasons: small-scale, diversified and protected farming; strict zoning; and the visionary 1977 creation of the regional Luberon National Park. Thank you, French government, from all of us who love this place!
